It's Saturday!

Yeah, well, that's pretty much like Friday, Thursday and any other day really.  I guess this must be what it's like being on  house arrest or something although at least I can go for a walk.  So this morning was chilly so while Steve drove down to collect the shopping we had ordered online, I went for a walk.  Wondered if Bella and her puppy Zipper wanted to come and just when I'd finished my walk I found out they would....so did another walk.........tired?  moi?  Yup!

Steve got back with the shopping but a lot of basics were not included.  Thinks like bread, eggs and coffee (either instant or ground).  Texted Emma later and she has put our missing items on her list but we think bread and flour are at a real shortage.  Never mind....ordered tortillas instead :-)

Emma had a race today but of course it was cancelled so she and a friend ran it anyway, virtually.
                                        
They did 5k, then 10k and then a half marathon one after the other.  Completed it AND got a medal!!

Found out that someone at Henry's office had been tested as positive so can't even see Emma, Henry or the kids now.  I am missing them for sure.  It's the random visits from the kids that I will miss most.  That and the hugs.

My faith is keeping me going.  So very grateful for the way my faith has grown over the years.  I have hope for the future and know that God has this all in his hands.

Oh yes, made some strange 'bread buns' this morning.  They were super salty but we had them with tomatoes at lunchtime.  We are blessed with tomatoes, having ordered 4 and then the supermarket sent 4 boxes of them.....ha ha ha
